The results reflect the project getting off the ground during the planning stage and obtaining of sponsor items during late June and July. There are increasing numbers of ticks as more people collect them.

The large number in October is from the 25th when a flock of sheep came in off the moor!

In other words, the numbers depend on how many people collect ticks and how many they collect! A more reflective picture should emerge from my fortnightly collection in Yarner Wood.

This bodes well for next year.
